Collection of deeds, surveys, plats, and indentures predominantly from Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City ranging from mid 1600s to mid 1900s. Many are fragile and some are infected with mold.

Contains correspondence between Greenfield family members which discuss religion, health, agriculture, and politics. Multiple letters addressed to Samuel from his siblings, and later letters are addressed to Mary Elizabeth from her nieces and nephews.

This collection contains primary source material collected by Joseph L. Hughes to further his interest in the study of Harford County history, many of which were the basis for talks given by Hughes on occasion, and for articles appearing in various local newspapers.

Also included is the genealogical correspondence of the Osburn family. Subjects discussed are family affairs, runaway slaves, removal of one member of the family to Indiana, and local politics.
